Wisconsin Veterans Museum
Since opening in 1993 at its Capitol Square location, the Wisconsin Veterans Museum has provided tours and educational activities to hundreds of tour groups. The four galleries and an expanded Research Center feature the role of Wisconsin's men and women in America's military past.
The galleries include:
- Civil War battle flags
- A database to find Civil War service records
- Award-winning exhibits dating from the Civil War to present conflicts
- A Sopwith Camel, Huey Helicopter, and much more
The museum is open year-round Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April through September the museum is also open on Sundays from Noon to 4:00 p.m. Guided tours are available, but must be scheduled in advance. Admission is free!
