Olbrich Botanical Gardens
Olbrich Botanical Gardens features 16 acres of outdoor display gardens and a year-round tropical conservatory. The gardens include:
- The Sunken Garden - Features regional prairie style terraces, a mix of perennial plants, and an 80-foot reflecting pool.
- Perennial Garden - Two and a half acres, with a meandering stream weaving through a colorful mix of perennial plants hardy to the upper Midwest.
- Thai Pavilion - Experience the exquisite artisanship and culture of Thailand.
- Rose Garden - Mixed borders of Midwest hardy shrub roses and perennials.
- The Bolz Conservatory - A sunny glass pyramid, housing a diverse collection of tropical plants, a rushing waterfall, free-flying birds, and blooming orchids year-round.
- Plus Herb, Rock, Meadow, and Wildflower Gardens.
The Botanical Center is complete with a gift shop and horticulture library. Groups are welcome and self-guided and guided group tours are available. Groups must register in advance.
